Welcome to Chestnut Connections

Agatha

Agatha is a gentle 5-year-old St. Bernard with a heart as big as her paws. A rescue dog, she has shown incredible resilience and a beautiful capacity to trust again. Once she found safety, Agatha went on to become a therapy dog, offering calm comfort, steady presence, and what many call a “living hug” to those who need it most. Her soft eyes and patient nature remind us that healing is possible—and that sometimes the ones who’ve been hurt the most become the greatest healers.

Tosh

Tosh is a lovable 5-year-old St. Bernard whose calm presence brings comfort wherever she goes. Sister to Agatha, she too is a therapy dog. She has a natural way of helping people feel safe, grounded, and seen—often with nothing more than a quiet sit beside them or a warm, steady lean. With her soulful eyes and big, gentle heart, Tosh offers what many call a “living hug,” reminding everyone she meets that they’re not alone and that connection can be deeply healing.

Pebbles

Pebbles is a lively 11-year-old Papillon with a youthful spark and a big love for life. Don’t let her age fool you—she has a high play drive and thrives on movement, games, and joyful bursts of energy. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and her playful spirit brings smiles wherever she goes. With her bright eyes and quick little steps, Pebbles is a sweet reminder that joy and vitality can shine at any age.

Billy

Billy is a 23-year-old retired show horse with a gentle soul and a heart for connection. After years in the show ring, he’s traded ribbons for relationships and now spends his days as a therapy horse, offering calm, steady presence to those who need it most. With his kind eyes and unhurried way of being, Billy has a special gift for helping people feel safe, grounded, and seen. Whether it’s a quiet moment of brushing, a soft nuzzle, or simply standing together in the pasture, Billy reminds us that healing doesn’t have to be loud—it can be slow, gentle, and deeply comforting.
